The Icarus Ascender 3, off the shelf. A lightweight, high-torque tricompartment unloader that takes up to 40 lb off the knee, with the patented tensioning dial for patient-adjusted support.
Sizing: measure the thigh 6" above and the calf 6" below the centre of the knee.
XS: thigh 13.0 to 14.5", knee centre 9.0 to 11.0", calf 9.0 to 11.0"
S: thigh 14.5 to 17.0", knee centre 11.0 to 12.5", calf 11.0 to 13.0"
M: thigh 17.0 to 19.0", knee centre 12.5 to 14.5", calf 13.0 to 14.5"
L: thigh 19.0 to 20.5", knee centre 14.5 to 16.0", calf 14.5 to 16.0"
XL: thigh 20.5 to 22.5", knee centre 16.0 to 17.5", calf 16.0 to 17.5"

Indications
- Anterior knee pain
- Patellofemoral osteoarthritis
- Multi-compartment knee osteoarthritis
- Medial or lateral compartment osteoarthritis
- Patellar tendinitis or tendinosis
- Quadriceps weakness or injury
- ACL unloading
- Extensor mechanism unloading
- Post-operative recovery
Contraindications
- Significant fixed knee flexion contracture (the knee cannot straighten)
- Unhealed fracture or recent knee surgery, unless your surgeon has cleared you for bracing
- Open wounds, ulcers or skin infection where the brace sits
- Suspected or confirmed deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the leg
- Severe peripheral vascular disease or poor circulation in the leg
- Reduced sensation in the leg, unless fitted and monitored by a clinician
- Known allergy or sensitivity to the brace materials

Warranty
Off-the-shelf warranty: tensioning system 2 years, frame and hinge 2 years, straps and pads 6 months. Covers manufacturing and material defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear and tear is not covered, and the warranty ends if anyone other than your clinician modifies the brace.
